Here at Priory House, prosthodontics is one of our predominant services, and we love restoring and revitalising our patients’ smiles.
A prosthodontist is responsible for:
The aim of treatment is to restore your oral function and improve the appearance of your teeth. This is sometimes achieved by using multiple techniques and treatments. Your treatment is fully customised, and we use state-of-the-art technology to formulate a clear treatment plan that will lead to predictable outcomes.
Our 3Shape TRIOS scanner takes fast and comfortable dental impressions, making your patient experience straightforward. The accuracy of this technology is also hugely beneficial, as it takes highly accurate impressions. This means the restorations are an excellent fit and of premium quality, resulting in fewer adjustments down the line.
Our in-house specialist prosthodontist, Dr Wail Girgis, is especially skilled in the replacement of missing teeth, the restoration of natural teeth, and complicated and simple restorations of the whole mouth. Wail trained at King’s College Hospital Dental School, London and went on to complete an MSc degree in Conservative Dentistry at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital, where he is also a consultant.
As a specialist prosthodontist, Dr Wail Girgis has completed years of additional training, supplementing his skills as a dentist to become a specialist in the restoration and replacement of lost teeth. We are proud to be one of the few practices in our area to offer specialist prosthodontic treatment to patients.
