No. This is one of the reasons our patients choose composite bonding over veneers, as it doesn’t require the removal of healthy natural tooth structure.
Composite bonding is a cosmetic dental treatment that uses composite resin to restore individual teeth. Layers of resin are matched to your tooth shade and applied directly to a cosmetically imperfect tooth. A UV light hardens the composite resin, setting it in place. As soon as your treatment is complete, you will have a robust tooth that can bite down, just like a natural tooth.
